My focus is on photography, but I also write poetry, paint, create metal sculptures, and hand build electric guitars. Saturday is our busiest day—so come showcase your talent(s) with us!Habitat for Humanity ReStore would like to feature three different groups/artists on Saturday April 11th between 10-12; 12-2; and 2-4pm. We are looking for small ensembles or solo musicians to perform for one segment; performance artists (painting, textiles, etc) for another segment, and another musician or performance artist for the final segment. 2 hours time frame includes set up and tear down. Please contact Kelly Hill @ Habitat if you are interested in one of these three Saturday performance opportunities khill@cuhabitat.org. Space is not a problem; performers/artists would be inside our Restore in the front window area. Thanks so much for participating in the midtown area!

  4. Andrea- would you be interested in face painting at the Habitat Restore on Saturday during Boneyard. I assume individuals would pay for your work?

    • What times were you thinking? You would like me to set up and charge by the face?

        Habitat has the following times; 10-12-12-2 and 2-4; what do you charge per face?

    • I have a building next to the Boneyard project at Griggs and Race.   11. The Mugdock Pipers are interested in performing at a Boneyard venue on either Saturday, April 11 or Sunday, April 12. The Mugdock Pipers were founded in the 1960s by Mr. Jim Lynch, Urbana, to promote the art of the Highland Bagpipe in the Champaign-Urbana area. Members have been drawn from among UIUC students as well as from the wider community. Current members are from Champaign, Urbana, Villa Grove, and Oakland. The Mugdock Pipers are named after Mugdock Castle in Scotland.

    I am excited about having the opportunity to display my large painitngs in Boneyard Arts Festival. My skyart is 48 in x 48 in or 48 in x 60. It would be wonderful to show in a place that has good space and light for larger works. These pieces can make quite an impact with good energy alone, with each other, or with other artwork with other artists.   17. Your art can help prevent children from entering the sex trade in several countries around the world. Join a group of artists and community members to bring awareness to the cause and fundraise for Remember Nhu, an organization that works to prevent trafficking of children.   27. Greetings! Classy combinations belly Dance Troupe is interested in performing at a Boneyard venue on either Saturday, April 11 or Sunday, April 12, possibly evenings of Thursday 4/9 Friday 4/10.
    Our enchanting, always family rated show can include Drum Solos, Veils, Sword, Goddess Wings, Finger Cymbals and Feather Fans for followed by audience mini lessons if desired. Our lovely art form of belly dance captivates audiences with a treat they’ll never forget. We’ve premiered on Channel 3 WCIA and performance venues include the Arts & Cultural Festivals, Parkland Theater, Emerald City, and the U of I Opera. We’ve been honored to perform in support of fundraisers such as R.A.C.E.S, (rape advocacy, counseling, education services) Breast Cancer research, the Humane Society, Northeast Community-Fund and children’s charity events C.A.R.E and Grace Orphanage and Disabled Center. We are also for hire at events and parties of all kinds.
